Britney Spears: Back to Kentwood

It seems like the more Britney Spears gravitates back toward her family, the better off she is. And this weekend, she’s spending some time in her hometown.

The “Gimme More” singer is on her first trip back to her Louisiana roots since things went south in her personal and professional life.

According to inside sources, Britney is back in Kentwood, La to help her sister Jamie Lynn celebrate her baby shower.

Also in town for the festivities is the Spears patriarch Jamie, who is keeping a close watch on the financial and professional areas of the “Piece of Me” singer’s life.
