The 33-year-old Oscar winning actress who shed off  her clothes for her Nazi role in The Reader, has also stripped for nine other films and recently posed half-naked for Vanity Fair. In spite of the negative comments regarding her weight, Kate Winslet has been more than willing to show off her voluptous body. Female celebrity nude savant, Mr Skin would know. “I’ve never had any problem going nude but there has to be a time when you stop. It has always been important to me that my body looks real. That’s why I don’t work out before nude scenes. I really don’t believe in this notion that actresses should look untouchably perfect. I’m certainly not. [But] I can’t keep getting away with it and I don’t want to become known as that actress who always gets her kit off. I need a break. I don’t know how long it will be before I feel OK. The biggest movie event of the year – 81st Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles is behind us. Slumdog Millionaire was named best picture, Kate Winslet took the best actress Oscar for her role in film The Reader while Sean Penn was named Best Actor for Milk.  Heath Ledger was named Best Supporting Actor for The Dark Knight while Penélope Cruz took the award as Supporting Actress in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. “I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t made up some version of this speech. I was eight years old and I’d have been standing in front of the bathroom mirror, and this would have been a shampoo bottle. It’s not a shampoo bottle now!” , said Kate. Receiving his world-famous golden statuette, Penn said: “I did not expect this, and I know how hard I make it to appreciate me, often. Mickey Rourke rises again and he is my brother.” Penelope made part of her speech in Spanish and told the audience: “Has anybody ever fainted here? Because I may be the first one. I dreamed of this since I was a little girl. I dedicate this award to all those from Spain who feel this award as theirs. Also, to all the actors of my country. Thank you very much.”
