Cristiano Ronaldo Picks Up Ballon d’Or Award

As you already know, Manchester United’s star winger Cristiano Ronaldo won the prestigious Ballon d’Or trophy awarded by France Football magazine. He received the Ballon d’Or award at a ceremony in Paris, France on Sunday (December 7). Ronaldo picked up the trophy after a great season at Manchester United where he scored 42 goals and won both Premier League and Champions League.

Upon receiving the award he stated:
“I never said that I was the best player in the world. I always said that I was well-placed to win the Ballon d’Or.”
