Former basketball star Dennis Rodman has been charged with spousal battery in connection with his arrest at a Los Angeles hotel earlier this month (May08).
The star was arrested after allegedly attacking his girlfriend during a drunken row at the hotel on 30 April (08) – and entered rehab in Fort Lauderdale, five days later on 5 May (08).

Rodman has been charged with three misdemeanours including one count of brandishing a deadly weapon and dissuading a witness.

He could face up to 36 months in jail, one year of probation, domestic violence counselling and a protective order if found guilty of the charges.

Rodman is due to appear in court on 22 May (08).
