Katherine Heigl’s Movie Star Ambitions

Keeping herself busy, Katherine Heigl spent Saturday afternoon (May 10) running errands close to her Los Feliz home.
The Isobel Stevens actress, who’s rumored to be thinking about leaving Grey’s Anatomy, seemed to be in good spirits as she smiled and chatted with a friend.
Clad in a white newsboy cap, Heigl left Gelson’s Market with three carts full of goodies – receiving help to her car from the store’s staff.
Following her market run, Heigl then swung by a small cafe where she picked up two more bags full of food and an iced coffee. Just as she was heading to her SUV to leave, a street musician convinced the starlet to buy one of his homemade CDs off of him.
As for the talk surrounding Miss Heigl’s rumored departure from Grey’s Anatomy, a source revealed to Us Weekly, “She’s working really long hours and is ready to move on. She’s a smart one.”
The 29-year-old is said to be cautiously testing the waters with films like “Knocked Up” and “27 Dresses”, with the insider adding: “She saw what can happen with someone like [“Friends” star], Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can’t seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early.”
