Lauren & Kellie: sexiest DJs in the UK?

Models Lauren Pope and Kellie Acreman have become fully-fledged DJs and they’re already taking the London clubbing scene by storm.

Lauren sais: ‘A friend of mine was a DJ and we used to hang out a lot, I started messing around on his decks and he gave me lessons.

I liked it so much I bought my own decks and started practicing at home. Kellie joined me soon after, because it wasn’t much fun DJing alone.
She plays house and I play R’n’B and hip hop.
I’ve been doing it over two years now, and the response has been fantastic.
We started off a year ago, DJing in clubs secretly… well without announcing it.
It’s great because it’s like being paid to have a night out.
It’s really funny because people are always surprised that we are actually good, even promoters.
And I’m like: ‘Well, why did you book us then if you weren’t expecting us to be any good?’
I guess people just expect two glamour girls to be some kind of gimmick. But we take it seriously and do our best to please the crowd.’
