Madonna’s New Daughter Mercy James

Madonna made another trip to Malawi in order do adopt a second child, this time a little girl named Mercy James. The 50-year-old pop star told the Malawi judge she would be “a deeply loving mother” to Mercy. Although the ruling’s due on Friday, Madonna already started celebrating as they told her that the application will succeed. The official told The Sun: “This is all very confidential, and Judge Chombo must still make her ruling — but that ruling will be in favour of Madonna. Madonna is a very good mother and ambassador for Malawi. She has improved the lives of thousands of orphans.”

“Her name is Mercy James from Mchinji Home of Hope orphanage. She has no father and mother—they both died. We finished the assessment yesterday in readiness for the courts next week,” a spokesman for the Ministry of Gender and Child Development told Reuters.
