Naked Madonna Photos Put On Display

Nude photographs of a 20-year-old Madonna are set to go on display in Brighton – Sky News reports. In 1979, the as yet unknown pop star agreed to pose in the flesh for photographer Martin Schreiber, who was a teacher at Parsons College in New York City. He was looking for a new face and body for his students to study and Madonna modeled part-time to pay her way through dance school. She was paid 30 US dollars.
Schreiber, himself a young photographer, describes a very different Madonna to the showbiz powerhouse she is today.
“She (Madonna) was pliant but I would say very quiet, maybe shy I’m not sure. I use the word taciturn, kind of moody, I felt. Not really into it but she was doing it. She was making a living doing it,” he said.
The pictures show a fully nude Madonna with a “languid and shy” look in her eyes, according to the exhibition’s press release. But Schreiber said it wasn’t her face which drew his attention: “Her body. She had a fantastic body. Perfect. Well-proportioned. Muscular without being too muscular, nice skin, just lovely, nice body.”
