Kim Cattrall, one of the principal stars of Sex and the City, has confirmed that there will “hopefully” be a sequel to the Sex And The City film. “We will do a sequel next summer,” Cattrall said on the Paul O’Grady Show but she did admit that it was “difficult getting everybody who’s so incredibly busy all together at the same time”. Despite rumours of a rift over salaries, Cattrall said the girls were all committed to making a new film. “We wanted to the first time, and now we’re hopefully doing it again for the second time”. – BBC reports.

Day after, Sarah Jessica Parker responded that the sequel is not a done deal, and that the plans are still in the making. She is urging fans not to get their hopes up. A good sign is that Warner Bros. Studios is in the negotiation phase of sequel plans.
