Hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco, the 2011 Academy Awards ceremony was held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night,February 27. In few words, the big winners are The King’s Speech, and Inception, which ended up winning four Oscar trophies, and of course The Social Network with three Oscars. Natalie Portman, as predicted, was named Best Actress for her work in Black Swan while Colin Firth landed Best Actor honors for his role in The King’s Speech.

TMZ has learned the FBI investigated a tip about a murder plot against Sandra Bullock that was allegedly arranged by Jesse James’ mistress Bombshell McGee — but the FBI ultimately deemed the tip “not credible. Law enforcement sources confirm that roughly two weeks ago, McGee’s ex-husband, Shane Modica, reported that he received a call from a man in Missouri who claimed Bombshell wanted to put a hit on both Modica and Bullock … and the mystery caller claimed he was the person who was supposed to carry out the hits. » Read more

Michelle “Bombshell” McGee apologises to Sandra Bullock over her 11-month affair with Sandra’s husband  Jesse James. “I’m sorry for your embarrassment. I’m sorry all this is public. Cheating motorcycle mechanic Jesse James could be out of the picture real soon because his betrayed wife Sandra Bullock is reportedly looking to hire a divorce lawyer. Bullock’s reps have been in touch with several high-end lawyers, including Lance Spiegel, who handled divorces for Charlie Sheen, Heather Locklear and Michael Jackson, TMZ reported on its Web site today. James has contacted several lawyers as well, sources told TMZ, but he will not be initiating the divorce. » Read more
