The 18-year-old country star, Taylor Swift, according to a piece from this Sunday’s New York Times “Arts & Leisure” section,” has quickly established herself as the most remarkable country music breakthrough artist of the decade.” She is hoping not to become a tabloid fixture. With a cameo in the Hannah Montana movie and her own clothing line, we can definitly say she’s taken a few important steps towards becoming next year’s Miley Cyrus.

Let me just remind you that her single “You’re Not Sorry,” debuted on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart and made it to 11. spot. I think it’s safe to say we are looking at a new chart topper. Her new album, Fearless, got released yesterday, November 11th.
