As we reported earlier, academy award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were fatally shot on the South Side of Chicago on October 24th. Jennifer’s brother-in-law, William Balfour has been arrested in the first-degree murders of Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson and Julian King, according to Chicago police.

There have not yet been any formal charges by the Cook County prosecutor’s office, but W Balfour was transferred from an Illinois state prison – back into police custody.
